Description

Wind 46. Formidable boat designed by the prestigious Naval Architect Germán Frers and built by Nauta shipyards in 1979. She has a length of 14.08 m. and a beam of 4.10 m. The draft is 2.28 m. Limited series of which only six units were built. This unit has undergone a complete restoration that has included live work, dead work, cover, interiors, machinery, etc? getting better qualities to those of origin. The deck has been made with gel-coat alternating two colors until reaching 18 layers. The  hull was sandblasted and treated with epoxy insulating products. The Hull has been treated and applied Awl-Grip Majestic Blue paint. The interiors were completely sanded and softened, slightly modifying the distribution to give her more volume. All bilges have been cleaned and painted. It has two refrigerators: one cooled by seawater and the other by air, such as a domestic refrigerator, which can still work with the vessel on land. Everything is designed and realized with redundant systems, such as two winlass in the bow, to offer maximum guarantees against the possibility of a failure of some element at sea. In resume, a great boat, solid, comfortable and with great performance as a high-altitude cruise as well as very fast in regatta.
